What are your operating hours?

Monday to Friday: 9am to 5pm.

Saturday: 9am to 2pm.

Sundays: 9am to 1pm (We are only open first and last Sunday of the month).

What are the size of the beds?

There are 5 sizes of bed available, from a single to king-size, with the choice of two mattress lengths (these sizes vary depending on the range chosen). Please find exact sizing below:

Standard Length

Single: 91cm x 188cm.
Three-Quarter: 107cm x 188cm.
Double: 137cm x 188cm.
Queen: 152cm x 188cm.
King: 183cm x 188cm.

Extra Length

Single: 91cm x 200cm.
Three-Quarter: 107cm x 200cm.
Double: 137cm x 200cm.
Queen: 152cm x 200cm.
King: 183cm x 200cm.

What are the size of the headboards?

The height of all headboard is a standard of 155cm, which fits the 5 sizes of our beds available, from a single to king-size.

Which forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, credit/debit card and EFT.

Do you offer credit?

We have partnered with MobiCred to offer credit to our customers. At the checkout, select PayFast, and then select the MobiCred option when you’re redirected to the PayFast payment gateway.

Lay-by is available if necessary. This can be carried out with 3 equal payments, either paid in-store or via EFT payments. Please contact sales@hewittbeds.co.za for more details.

Do you deliver?

Yes, we do deliver your bed and we charge a delivery fee based on the distance from our warehouse to your location. There is a set delivery fee of R300.00, unless your location is in the Southern Suburbs (R350.00) or Helderberg (R400.00).

Once your delivery booking has been confirmed, we can advise a delivery time which will be either morning or afternoon, but we cannot provide an exact ETA.

What is the difference between a warranty and a guarantee?

A warranty is where the cost of repair or replacement is the responsibility of the customer on a pro rata basis for the remainder of the warranty period. The warranty period differs between products.

A factory guarantee is a repair or replacement period is against faulty workmanship and faulty materials free of charge. This doesn’t extend to any damage caused by normal wear and tear, abuse, misuse or negligence of the mattress.

Hewitt Beds warrant that our sleep systems are free from any defect in workmanship or materials. We source only the best quality and finest raw materials to manufacture our sleep systems. This promise is backed by our commitment to continually improve our products and services.
